I am from a very ancient country with almost 9 centuries of history and for shure I love my country. Some men in my country made bad things on those 900 years (they had a lot of time). Slaughter the natives in Africa, slave people all around the world. Destroy native tribes in Brasil. Killed people in India with tourniquet to steal shirts of cambric with no blood on it. I could stay till tomorrow writting bad things.
That is History and why history exists is for us not to do the same wrong things we did along time. Spanish destoyed Inca and Maya Empires. English slaughter and slaved all kinds of people around the world. Germans have the WW II on their heads. Russians have the Political and racist persecution. The North Vikings, the French, The Italians, the Japanese, the Australians, the Mongols, many others and of course the Americans.
Some fights with native Americans shouldnt be forgotten or the Atomic Bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki maybe if the Japanese didnt attack Pearl Harbour as they did, America wouldnt drop the Bomb. These are Historical facts and cant be denied. Denying it is the way to do it again.
Different times with different thoughts. Romans crucified an all army along the "Via Appia" the army of Spartacus. Victims of an age so cruel. And put all Europe and North Africa in a fight for Centuries. I will not change my feelings towards my country because of some bad decisions. The world was different but we must stay alert not to do the same afterall it is so easy to destroy and kill.
To construct a man we need years of education to construct a Building we need time. To destroy or kill is quite fast. That can be by country wars or terrorism that make no difference for those who die or for the fallen buildings.
